Dramatic announcement by Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, who in video message addressed to Britain revealed that she is being treated for cancer. Kate, consort of the heir to the British throne William, è underwent surgery on her abdomen about two months ago, the nature of which was never revealed.
The woman, who turned 42 on Jan. 9, explained that she had been put through chemotherapy starting in late February. Many theories had been circulating since her surgery about her health condition, but without any confirmation ever coming from Palace.
