Inter, another injury: Yann Sommer is also hurt
National team commitments make another victim in Inter’s rearguard. After Stefan De Vrij with the’Netherlands, Yann Sommer was also injured during Switzerland’s friendly against the Netherlands.
The extreme defender received a hard blow to his right foot in a clash with former Atalanta player Rasmus Hojlund and was replaced at 37’ by the redoubt coach Murat Yakin, who brought in Yvon Mogo in goal.
Sommer’s condition will be evaluated in the coming days by Inter’s medical staff, and if he’s not able to recover for the Nerazzurri’s next engagement, which’s scheduled for Easter Monday against Empoli, Emil Audero’ll be in goal.
