Maverick Viñales praises Aprilia: “Incredible work”

Maverick Viñales scored his first success with the Aprilia, winning the Sprint Race of the Portuguese Grand Prix. The Spaniard commented on his triumph to the microphones of Sky Sports. "From the first day of testing è it was difficult to adapt to the new bike – he began -, especially for the balance I had. In Qatar we tried a lot of things and did not have time to work on the race. Here, however, the change there’è been on the setting and above all I can better exploit the positive points of the bike".

He then praised his team: "I was quite strong on brakes and throttle, we still need to improve something but anyway the guys have done an incredible job from Qatar to here. I really want to start tomorrow and continue to grow. I think we are at a great level but we need to improve something. However this balance l’ve looked good, we have the data, è a matter of finding a setup that always works the same".

"From here on we go as strong as we did today. In Qatar the grip was soì high that it was difficult for me to ride hard, here everything è back to normal, I can push harder. It’ very good to have the data, we believe in it. Forza Aprilia" concluded Viñales.
