“Pasquale Mandato” Penitentiary Center in Secondigliano has a new basketball court

As of today, the “Pasquale Mandato” Penitentiary Center in Secondigliano has a new basketball court: the inauguration of the playground, renovated by the Italian Basketball Federation with the participation of “Lottomatica Foundation” and the collaboration of the “Nonprofit Association “Second Chance”, took place following a press conference held inside the prison.

The project è was started last fall, saw the start of the construction site in mid-February and was completed last week: a tangible and concrete contribution of Social Responsibility and realized at zero kilometers, thanks to the intervention of a company from Naples that in Campania has already been involved in the redevelopment of several other playgrounds. The first part of the work, which involved removing debris and weeds from the field, è was carried out precisely by some inmates of the Secondigliano Institute

The colors chosen for the field were Light Blue, in tribute to all our national teams, and Orange, which is the color of the basketball.
