The Under 17 and Under 19 at their respective European Championships

The Under-17 and Under-19 National Teams gained qualification to their respective European Championships within hours of each other on Tuesday. The U17s led by Massimiliano Favo punched their ticket to the continental review by drawing 2-2 against Finland in Vantaa, while Bernardo Corradi‘s U19s defeated 5-0 Georgia in Lignano Sabbiadoro.
U17: Camarda signs the equalizer at 91'

As far as the Under-17 team is concerned, a penalty kick by Francesco Camarda proved decisive, who equalized a match that had started well, with Kangasniemi‘s own goal at 18' at 91' ;, but which had become very complicated because of the Finnish comeback, marked by Kirilov’s equalizer on a penalty kick at 26' and the lead signed at 56' by Multala.
