Here are the words of Jannik Sinner at the end of his quarterfinal match at the Miami Open in which he decisively beat Czech Tomas Machac 6-4 6-2 returning to the semifinals for the third time on Florida’s concrete.
“Machac è an incredible talent, very fast and physically very good. I was a little circumspect in the first few games because I didné t know what to expect today and what tactics to use. The score maybe è a bit’ lying, I managed to play well the important points”.
“Physically I feel good, we train hard to stay competitive. For me Miami è special, here I landed in my first final in a 1000 and I am happy to be back in the semifinals”.
