Jorginho's agent exposes himself on the midfielder’s future
Should Jorginho's Premier League adventure end when his contract with Arsenal expires next June 30, the national team midfielder could make a return to Serie A. Confirming this, during an interview with 'Radio Sportiva', was the Italian-Brazilian player's agent, Joao Santos.
"So far, Arsenal has not started negotiations to renew the contract,” admitted Jorginho’s attorney, “but we expect discussions to start soon. Should we fail to agree on a renewal with the Gunners, we could consider a return to Serie A, where Jorginho has already proven his worth".
Class of 1991, Jorginho è away from Serie A since the summer of 2018, when Chelsea took him from Napoli. With the Blues, he won the Europa League in 2019, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup in 2021, the year in which he also became European champion with the national team shirt. At Arsenal since January 2023, with the Gunners he won the Community Shield (the English Super Cup) in the summer of that year.
