Dominik Paris set the best time in the first and only men’s downhill event ahead of the Italian Absolute Championships that will award the title on Friday, March 29.

On the South Tyrolean slope of Sarentino, the Val d’Ultimo forest carabiniere, who is going in the hunt for his third title after those won in 2021 and 2022, stopped the stopwatch on a time of 1’12″41 on a day conditioned by fog, so much so that the training è was postponed by almost an’hour.

In second place Guglielmo Bosca at 1″04, third time for Mattia Casse at 1″05, followed by the very young Luca Larcher, Emanuel Lamp and Glauco Antonioli. Friday’s race on Friday, March 29, scheduled at 8:30 a.m., will be valid for the Grand Prix Italia circuit in the senior and youth categories.
