John Raineri announces the 15 for Ireland

Women&#39s Six Nations: Italy&#39s XV for the challenge with Ireland

Giovanni Raineri, technical commissioner of the national women&#39s rugby team, has defined the lineup for the challenge with Ireland, scheduled for Sunday, March 31, at 4 p.m. at the RDS Arena in Dublin, during the second day of the Guinness Women’s Six Nations 2024, broadcast on Sky Sport Max.

Following the match against England, the Azzurri are set to play in Dublin against an Ireland side determined to redeem itself after its defeat in Le Mans against France. Despite the injury absences of Michela Sillari and Giulia Cavina, who will be unavailable for the rest of the tournament, Raineri relies on a broken-in first line with Turani on the left, Vecchini, on her return, as hooker and Seye on the right. On the third line, Ilaria Arrighetti is back, 17 months and 14 matches after her injury in the match against USA in the 2021 World Cup in New Zealand. Captain Sofia Stefan will again lead the team, marking her 83rd appearance for the women’s national team.
