Grigor Dimitrov warns Jannik Sinner: "The work here è not yet finished"
Grigor Dimitrov has reached the final of the Miami Open, where he will face Jannik Sinner. The Bulgarian tennis player overcame Alexander Zverev, thanks in part to a decisive volley with which he got the break in the third set. "I don't remember exactly the moment and will have to see probably the replay but I think I played a very good match, I never backed down" he stressed in the press conference.
He then warned his next rival, Jannik Sinner: "The job is not è finished here but in general beating the best tennis players consistently is worth more than any ranking. In the end you know that ranking comes through success, in the last twelve months sometimes è it was difficult but I always worked and believed. I never lost sight of my goal and every week I set small goals, waking up in the morning and not feeling any pain è for me a great achievement".
"È the opposite, I was very lucky and indeed not having these tennis players around anymore è a bit sad. The challenges against them shaped me mentally and also because of that; I learned and came here. They are the pioneers of current tennis" commented Dimitrov on playing in the Fab Four era.
