Napoli, new ds arrives from Juventus
Napoli, the new ds comes from Juventus
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has decided on whom to bet on for the role of the partenopei’s new sporting director. According to reports from 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', in fact, the Azzurri number one would have chosen to entrust the direction of the technical-sports area to Giovanni Manna, Cristiano Giuntoli's first collaborator at Juventus.
Manna, ideal for De Laurentiis’ project, possesses an excellent nose in the market, highlighted by having held the role of Head of First Team alongside the dt, in the Next Gen of the Bianconeri company, with a focus on emerging talents.
Followed by De Laurentiis last summer, Manna has overtaken Pietro Accardi, Empoli’s sporting director, and will take the place of Giuntoli, who left Napoli. He will start on July 1, but the choice of the new coach will have to take place well before that, a decision that will be up to the president of the Italian champions anyway.
