After a full eight weeks in the pits due to injury, Embiid è returned to the court in the showdown against OKC, won by Philadelphia 109-105 thanks in part to the contribution of his All Star who put up 24 points, six rebounds and seven assists in 29' of play. "This injury has challenged me mentally, it hasn’t è been easy. It è took me a while to get over it and I haven't done it completely yet", his words reported by ESPN.
Without Embiid, the 76ers have collapsed. With him on the court, the record è definitely positive (27-8). Without Embiid’s presence, however, came 27 losses and only 14 wins. Due to many injuries, Embiid è also gambled away the chance to compete for the MVP title, already won once (he missed too many games) but will be decisive for the season finale and the post season.
In the night’s other games, the LA Lakers got rid of Toronto (128-111) while Golden State got the better of Dallas (104-100). Denver did well: 110-105 over San Antonio.
