Genoa, Alberto Gilardino gets impatient with questions about his future

This is how Genoa coach Alberto Gilardino, on the eve of the away match in Verona against Hellas, wanted to comment on the rumors that would have him on the bench of Fiorentina next season.

"Enough questions about my future becauseé then you get bored talking and hearing them, now stop. I reiterate that with the company, there's a constant dialogue and we said that when there is news, it will be officially communicated. Being an expiring coach, è it è normal that there may be some news like this week and it will happen; until there is a clear point that will close the matter. Now I really have so many other things to think about for Genoa".

"I have to think about every single player,” he added, “about the team and trying every day to motivate the boys. All my energy is directed only toward this one goal that è salvation. I am not thinking about anything else. I have great trust and respect for Genoa and all the managers for what they have given me. I have thanked them and do so daily as does the whole environment. Right now there are eight games left until the end of the season and we have to focus on the one tomorrow against Verona".

Out injured Malinovsky, against Verona there will be no disqualified Retegui either. There'è to figure out, given the problems also of Vitinha who will be able to flank Gudmundsson in attack, where Ekuban returns from an injury: "There are Ankeye and Messias, and the latter who can fill that role. We're really a bit of a numerical emergency, but I trust whoever will be there in Verona because it&#39s a group that has shown me to pull something important out of difficulties. Who will playà and who will take over; will have to give their all" concludes the coach.
