Juventus scored an important victory against Fiorentina on Sunday evening: the Bianconeri took advantage of Bologna’s misstep (blocked 0-0 by Frosinone) to stretch to +4 on Thiago Motta’s gang. Deciding the match against the Gigliati è was Federico Gatti, skillful in scoring after a post hit by Bremer.
Juventus impacted the match very well and seemed immediately aggressive and hungry: at minute 6 the Bianconeri fans celebrated McKennie's goal but the referee cancelled for offside, 6 minutes later the same scene was repeated but with Bremer as the protagonist. On 21' the Brazilian defender soars on a corner kick, his zuccata hits the post but Gatti è the quickest of all and scores behind Terracciano. At 32' the third goal of the evening is cancelled: Vlahovic receives from McKennie and seals 2-0 but VAR highlights an offside.
In the second half Fiorentina tried to put ni parità the match back on track and came very close on 74' when Szczesny performed a miracle by deflecting Nico Gonzalez’s shot onto the post. In the final minutes Biraghi also tried but he was not è lucky and at the triple whistle the scoreboard reads 1-0 for Juventus.
