Nicolò Zaniolo getting closer to return to Serie A

Nicolò Zaniolo could return to Serie A in the upcoming summer soccer market session. The former Roma player is a concrete target of Aurelio De Laurentiis’ Napoli, which is thinking of a major revolution in the squad after a very troubled year. There has also been talk of AC Milan and Juventus but Napoli is currently the most quoted option.

Giovanni Manna, the future new sporting director of the Neapolitan club, has been following him since he worked for Juventus and in a few months may finally succeed in acquiring him. At the moment, the player è on loan to Aston Villa, which, forò, will most likely not redeem him.Zaniolo will return to Galatasaray and the Turkish club will listen to the various offers.

Just a few days ago he said: "Italy I miss a lot: family, friends, my son…. Now forò it is up to the clubs to define my future, the card è owned by Galatasaray. I asked my attorney, Claudio Vigorelli, to inform me only if and when there’è something concrete. Now I have to focus on'Aston Villa".

The class of 1999 è grew up at Fiorentina, then è moved to Entella and then to Inter. In 2018 Roma bought him for 7 million euros and in 2023 sold him to Galatasaray for 15 million euros. This season he has scored just 3 goals in 35 games, a haul that is far from exciting.
