Vincenzo Nibali, winner of the 2013 and 2016 Giro d'Italia, spoke about the epilogue of the upcoming Pink Race: "I would have liked to win a Giro d'Italia with Great Arrival in the Capital. The Giro makes people discover very beautiful places every year, we cyclists don't get to appreciate them fully but those who watch the race from TV can fall in love with special places like Rome".
"I think the arrival scenario, with the presence of the President of the Republic in 2023, has once again increased the international dimension of the event" added the great Sicilian champion.
The Grand Arrival of the Giro d'Italia 2024, which will start on May 4 from Venaria Reale and end on the 26th in the capital for the sixth time in history, was presented on Capitol Hill. As in the 2023 edition, the Maglia Rosa will be crowned in the Eternal City, which will be dressed in festive fashion also thanks to the collateral activities that will be organized.
