The Allianz UMANA MENTE Foundation, the main expression of the Allianz Group’s social responsibility initiatives in Italy, organized La Thuile in Valle d’Aosta the new session of Hol4All, a concise form of “Holiday for All – a vacation for all”, a social integration and participation project designed to offer a vacation to children and young people with a complex disability or rare diseases, together with their families.

Hol4All è a project first launched in 2021 and born from the’meeting between families with children with disabilities and the more than 20 years of experience of the Allianz UMANA MENTE Foundation. Hol4All responds to Goals 3 (Health and well-being) and 10 (Reducing inequalities) defined by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The ’idea è to make the whole family experience “out of the ordinary”, helping them regenerate, thanks to targeted activities designed for each member of the family: indoor  experiences – such as swimming pool and cooking class -, and outdoor – such as sledding, skiing and snowboarding. In this way, families “recharge their batteries” and parents temporarily reduce their burden of responsibility.

All activities are designed to put fun at the center for children, teens and their parents, giving carefree, even and especially increasing confidence in their own abilities, thanks to a qualified staff of educators, psychologists and doctors. In the course of the vacation, families create spontaneous relationships of mutual help and become, at least for a few days, part of one big group.

The’latest edition of La Thuile è was also designed to regenerate and recharge all family members: activities were proposed for children and young people with disabilities, for the parental couple (candlelight dinners, unforgettable moments in the SPA, both dynamic and relaxing activities) and for siblings (the brothers or sisters without disabilities) involved in activities, including adrenaline-pumping ones, designed exclusively for them.

Guests at TH La Thuile Planibel 22 families with a total of 24 children and youth with complex disabilities and/or rare genetic syndromes, 10 siblings siblings, 27 volunteers (including 7 Allianz Group employees) supporting the families and 11 staff members and Allianz UMANA MENTE Foundation.
