Elisa Longo Borghini wins Brabant’s Arrow

Elisa Longo Borghini does the encore, and after the Tour of Flanders, she won today the Brabant Arrow, imposing herself by detachment with 41" of advantage on the second classified, the Dutch Demi Vollering.

It was precisely with the representative of Team SD Worx that the champion of Italy was in the breakaway, but eight kilometers from the finish she pulled away with a deadly spurt. In seventh place, at 1'06" from Longo Borghini, another Italian, 20-year-old Eleonora Ciabocco from Macerata.

“È it was a great performance by the team – Longo Borghini’s words at the end of the race -, we had planned an attack race and everything è unfolded perfectly. The victory è for my husband Jacopo Mosca”.
