During an interview given to the microphones of "Tennis Channel", former American tennis player Andy Roddick wanted to comment on Jannik Sinner's overwhelming debut at the Monte Carlo Masters 1000. More in detail, the 41-year-old from Omaha did not hide his amazement at the clear superiority shown by the South Tyrolean during this beginning of the season.
"Sinner is literally destroying everyone. I mean, if we go and look at the scores in the matches, it is not è normal to beat a player of Medvedev’s caliber 6-1 6-2 on concrete, just as it is not è to beat Korda like that in the first match on clay in a very long time" debuted the former American tennis player.
"These are junior tournament scores. If Jannik will be able to keep the level shown on concrete also on clay, then it will be something scary for all his opponents" added Andy Roddick.
