Juventus stops at the post in derby with Torino

The derby della Mole ends in a scoreless draw. At the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, Juventus did not go beyond a 0-0 draw against Torino, with Dusan Vlahovic slamming first on the post and then on Milinkovic-Savic. Lazaro’s was the biggest chance for the granata in the final.

In the early stages, a huge chance for Juventus: Chiesa goes away on the flank and puts in the middle for Vlahovic, who alone in front of Milinkovic-Savic hits the post. On 13′ it is again the Bianconeri who make themselves dangerous but Locatelli’s conclusion ends high on the crossbar. On 32′ Vlahovic wastes again by shooting at Milinkovic-Savic from two steps. At the end of the first half Torino also shows itself with an area twist by Vlasic that ends up wide.

At the beginning of the second half the granata find the lead with Zapata but the referee cancels for an earlier foul by Bellanova on Kostic. In the 60th minute Sanabria hits a Bellanova cross perfectly with his head but Szczesny overcomes. In the 76th minute, Milinkovic-Savic again starred with a nice save in the stretch on the right of the newly entered Yildiz. The last chance, however, has the Toro: in the 94th minute Linetty crosses from the left, Iling-Junior goes wide, but Lazaro’s header from a few steps does not find the goal.

A draw that satisfies no one: Juve remains in third place, at 63, while Torino in ninth, at 45.
