Fefè De Giorgi coach of men’s Italvolley until 2026
Ferdinando De Giorgi will be coach of the men’s national volleyball team until 2026. The Fipav federal council, which met in Cagliari, informs the federation, contract terms for the 2025-2026 seasons have been resolved.

De Giorgi – who led the Azzurri to win the 2022 world gold, 2021 European gold and 2023 European silver medal – will immediately be busy obtaining qualification for Paris 2024. Then he will have the task of guiding the national team to defend the title at the 2025 World Cup and the 2026 European Championship.

The board, for the men’s national team, also renewed for 2025 the contracts of the second coach, Massimo Caponeri, and assistant coach and athletic trainer Nicola Giolito.
