WWE in Italy match card revealed: Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest and more

We are very few days away from WWE’s return to Italy. The WWE Live show, scheduled in Bologna for Wednesday, May 1 at 8 p.m., è already sold-out at the’Unipol Arena. There will be plenty of stars from WrestleMania XL, the most important Showcase of the Immortals ever that marked the’beginning of a new era.

At the Unipol Arena the big star will be the new Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, who will defend his title against Shinsuke Nakamura. The American Nightmare, who interrupted Roman Reigns’ 1316-day reign, has finished the story started by his father Dusty, but now è focused on the present.

Also in Bologna will be the new WWE World Champion, Damian Priest. The Judgment Day member, fresh title winner at WrestleMania XL, after cashing in the Money in the Bank against Drew McIntyre, will defend the crown against two opponents, in a Triple Threat Match.

There will be plenty of stars in attendance: from Ring General Gunther – who just lost the Intercontinental Title after 666 days – to the new World Tag Team Champions, the Awesome Truth.

The Bologna event will be the preview of WWE Backlash France, the upcoming Premium Live Event, which will be held at the LDLC Arena in Lyon. The event, Saturday, May 4 at 6:30 p.m., will be available on the WWE Network, in a Lyon where on the evening of May 3 è the WWE SmackDown show is also scheduled, available live on DMAX at 7:00 p.m.
