Lucia Bronzetti stops in second round in Madrid, passes Elena Rybakina

WTA Madrid: Elena Rybakina-Lucia Bronzetti 6-4 6-3

Lucia Bronzetti's adventure at the Madrid Masters 1000 ended in the second round. The Italian tennis player, in fact, è was defeated in two sets by Kazakh Elena Rybakina with the score of 6-4 6-3, in one hour and sixteen minutes of play.

After an initial phase characterized by breaks and counter-breaks, the decisive break was placed by Rybakina in the tenth game, when Bronzetti serves to stay in the set under 5-4, but from 15-15 the Kazakhstani places three consecutive points snatching the service from her rival and winning the first set with a score of 6-4.

In the second partial, the Rimini native started off better, immediately hitting a break at zero, but the world number four è adept at immediately turning the contest around. In addition, after saving two break points in the fifth game, the Kazakh managed to extend her lead to 4-1 and from then on she managed it until the 6-3 final.
