Milan: very harsh statement from the Curva Sud

The Curva Sud, the hottest part of the Milan fans, has posted a very harsh statement addressed to the club: "The season is coming to an end and the mediocrities that marked it for almost the entire duration, has given way to a funereal and disastrous ending that, as if that were not enough, è has been amplified even moreù; by the dastardly statements of some managers as well as by the rumors regarding the name of the future coach that make us understand once again more how the ambition to relive the times that were, is not the primary prerogative of this company".

"Since the advent of Mr. Cardinale almost 2 years have passed, a transitional and settling-in phase was to be considered more than legitimate but now è the time has come to get to the bottom line and demonstrate with facts the real objectives of the companyàthat is, whether to build an ambitious team, or to set up from year to year a team that can vivacitate in the positions that guarantee access to the Champions League while waiting to build the new stadium and nothing more, " fans wrote on Instagram.

"It must be clear to everyone that if the answer was the latter we are not in! That we cannot think of spending on the market the rivers of money invested by other companies; from other leagues è more than legitimate, but we cannot think of becoming great again by building the team solely by going through a few disposals and then reinvesting the money on unestablished players. One cannotò think of having a winning project if, now almost in May, we still do not know who will be the new coach and consequently it becomes difficult to set up on the market a team compatible with the needs of the new coach. Inside the company, total chaos reigns between deafening silences, communication strategies that are embarrassing to say the least and lack of clarity of roles".

The è ultimatum è very clear: "Gentlemen, patience è over! Milan is not è a product on which to speculate and Milan is not è a square that is content to participate. Milan has behind it a people who by history and tradition è are used to being in the elite of world soccer. If this ownership thinks it can live up to these prerogatives and prove it with concrete facts (and the choice of the new coach will already make us understand a lot), it will continue to enjoy the tireless support of a people madly in love. If not, forget about living Milan as a happy island, as you have done until now.. Always with Milan in your heart!".
