Roma, Lukaku's heir may come from the Premier League
The chances of Roma redeeming Romelu Lukaku at the end of the season are close to zero: the Belgian is exorbitantly expensive and Giallorossi executives have already set to work to find his replacement. In the last hours è popped up the hypothesis of Timo Werner.
The German left Leipzig in January to find more space and è settled on loan at Tottenham. Despite his good performance with the Spurs shirt, English newspapers claim that the club is not convinced that they want to redeem him. Werner could therefore be forced to return to Leipzig, but he does not fit into the German club’s plans, which would put him back on the market.
At the moment è only a hypothesis but Roma executives are nonetheless watching with interest the Teutonic striker’s progress: if Tottenham decides to send him back to Leipzig, the German club could sell him for a relatively low fee.
