Dan Peterson in the Hall of Fame

Coach Dan Peterson, the coach of the 1987 Champions Cup, the 1985 Korac Cup, who at the helm of Olimpia Milano reached two more European finals and won four scudetti (plus one in Bologna) è was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame, class of 2024.

For Coach Peterson, who è already a member of the FIP Hall of Fame and that of Olimpia, this is another prestigious recognition for an extraordinary career in which he also won in Italy an Italian Cup (1973/74) and a Scudetto (1975/76) with Virtus Bologna.

Other international basketball stars inducted this year into the FIBA Hall of Fame include Romain Sato, who è was one of the draggers of Montepaschi Siena, champion of Italy from 2007 to 2010.

With the Tuscan club, the Central African Republic winger also won three Italian Super Cups (2007, 2008 and 2009) and two Italian Cups (2009 and 2010), as well as the prestigious title of league MVP in 2010.
