Zebre, Juan Pitinari open-hearted about renewal
Juan Pitinari stays at Zebre
The Zebre announced on Tuesday that they have reached an agreement for the renewal of Argentine prop Juan Pitinari, 29 years old on January 18. The federal franchise engaged in the United Rugby Championship will therefore keep in the squad one of the elements most used in the closed scrum by coach Fabio Roselli.
Pitinari, in his career, has never played at Test match level but boasts a few appearances with the Argentina XV, as well as 31 official appearances with Zebre (figure updated to the end of April 2024) and a try scored in Pretoria against the Emirates Lions in the last match of the 2022/23 season.
"I am happy to stay at Zebre and to have the opportunity to continue to grow with this fantastic group of players with whom I have forged very strong bonds,” the prop told official Zebre channels, explaining the decision to stay. This season I was able to express myself as I wanted, finding some great satisfactions".
"The club has embarked on an exciting project and I am happy to be part of it and make my contribution. On a personal level, I have settled very well in Parma together with my family: this allows me to focus with serenityà and motivation on the challenges that await me on the field" concluded Pitinari.
