Brescia, there’s Brindisi: Alessandro Magro spots the number one danger
The words of Alessandro Magro ahead of the challenge with Brindisi
Alessandro Magro, coach of Germani Brescia, presented the last day of the championship against Happy Casa Brindisi in a press conference: "A game a bit special. From our side there’è the need’ to play a real and serious game because’ è the best way we know to prepare for the playoffs trying to understand what will be’ our opponent".
"Brindisi unfortunately è a team that will arrive in Brescia knowing that they are already relegated – added the helmsman of the Lombards -, unfortunately they were not able to maintain the category, but they fought until last day, finding many important victories, and have set up after several changes a roster of absolute quality" and great athleticism".
"They have players like Bartley, Sneed and point guard Washington who in the quintet manage to bring in so many points. They have Nate Laszewski in the 4 who è the best 3-point shooter in the league and è a player who has the ability to open up the court to the scurries of the outside players and Morris, a player we know well, not only because of how badly he hurt us in the’first leg, but because he&rsegrave; last year in the EuroCup at Lietkabelis he played an incredible season".
"È a game we want to play to prepare ourselves. Preparing ourselves also means being ready then for next week so there will beà the needà to have limited minutes for some of the players who have returned and there will almost certainly be the needà to keep someone" rested.
"We are happy to re-embrace our fans at home, on the’last day of the championship, and we want to honor it, then from next week there will be the games that really count" concluded Magro.
