On the final day of the basketball A series regular season, Dinamo Sassari will receive Pallacanestro Reggiana, where the goal for the hosts will be to give their fans one last joy of the season before entering the off season. With only a few days to go, the Sardinians’ head coach Nenad Markovic has asked for a last effort from his players to close out the championship in the best possible way. In addition, the Bosnian coach expressed his views on the upcoming season.

"Definitely the "last home game è was very negative and starting with me and the players, I hope that in everyone&#39s head there is a desire to redeem themselves and finish the season well in front of our public despite the fact that it does not count from the point of view of the playoffs" began the Sardinians'head coach in a press conference.

"When I got here no one thought we could finish fifth or sixth, it would have been a dream, but given how we threw away wins with Pesaro and Varese, we could have played for the spot with Reggio Emilia, which right now è fifth. It happens even to the best teams that one’s situation changes in a few days, forò there remains on our part regret for the missed chances" continued the Bosnian coach.

"We have already started thinking about what our roster for next season could be, a hungry roster that has motivation and ambition. It's still early to talk about it, but we will try to be competitive right away. We will definitely be able to count on Cappelletti and Bendzius, and depending on the available budget we will try to reinforce the team" concluded Nenad Markovic.
