Hellas Verona, Marco Baroni asks for an extra effort from his men
Sunday at 3 p.m. Hellas Verona-Fiorentina
Toward 30,000 attendance at the Bentegodi to push Hellas Verona toward salvation Sunday, May 5, against Fiorentina (kickoff whistle: 3 p.m.). Verona coach Baroni does not trust the Viola, coming off a 3-2 loss in the Conference League semifinal with Bruges that they will face again on Thursday, May 9 in Belgium for the return match.
"Fiorentina has a large roster capable of measuring itself against anyone even if it played last Thursday" the Gialloblu coach's warning to his boys, made explicit during the eve press conference. The replacement for disqualified Cabal has been chosen: it will be Vinagre; Vinagre. On Duda and Suslov, who have not been brilliant in recent matches, Baroni explained: "For them è it has been a grueling season so far between the league and national teams. They worked well during the week, I count on them and all the others. As well asé on the public whose push has never been lacking nor will it be lackingé ".
Praise, finally, for the purple coach Italiano, a former Verona player: he played with Baroni in a Gialloblu jersey in the mid-1990s. "Italiano was a young man with qualities that he would later express on the field" explained Baroni, "as a coach his soccer è modern and offensive. We should be good at disrupting their dribbling and not giving reference points".
