Cagliari-Lecce 1-1

Sunday of the 35th day of Serie A opened with a draw in the delicate salvation challenge between Cagliari and Lecce. Unlocking the lunch-match at the Unipol Domus è a goal by Yerry Mina, then forò the expulsion of Gaetano complicates the challenge for the Rossoblù, who are taken back in the final by Nikola Krstovic, who signs the final 1-1.

Cagliari got off to a strong start and unblocked the game on 15' with Deiola but the goal was cancelled due to a touch of the hand at the moment of control. Ten minutes later the Rossoblù go ahead: on the development of a corner Gaetano kicks from outside and finds the winning paw of Yerry Mina. At the end of the first fraction, Gaetano was ejected after Var review for a harsh high-legged intervention against Ramadani.

In the resumption, the game changed with the guests taking control of the game and the Sardinians, in numerical inferiority, closed in their own half of the field. At 63' Oudin dangerous with a left-footed shot from the edge of the area just wide, two minutes later Pierotti engages Scuffet with a header that remains central. At 72' Gotti also throws Almqvist and Rafia into the fray and at 84'84 comes the hoped-for equalizer: è just the newly entered Almqvist to go away on the right and put in the center for the acceding Krstovic who puts in the net from a few steps. In the final, the Salentini even had a chance to win it but stopped by Baschirotto and Sansone’s woodwork and Scuffet’s double miracle on Blin and Gendrey.

With this draw, Lecce 'sees' salvation, moving up to 37 points in the standings, in 13th position, +4 just ahead of Cagliari, 14th. The Sardinians climb to 33, +4 over Udinese, 18th, engaged Monday night against Napoli, and Sassuolo, second-last, which in Saturday night's advance defeated Inter (1-0).
