Julio Velasco spoke after the first friendly match that marked his return on the bench of women'Itavolley: "Tonight being the first match, not only for me, but also for several girls, the excitement got a little bit. The match did not create many problems for us, forò in this kind of challenges it is not è easy to keep our attention high, while we especially in coverage showed good things. Some solutions in attack that we had tried worked, as well as the wall and another important thing è was the fact that we missed few services, without però beating easy".

"We came to this match after several weeks of work, forò with groups that arrived at different times. A few girls è have been kept at rest due to minor physical problems.  We are working during this period, gradually inserting groups of players, and this is how it will be next week as well, when a good part of the team will leave for Turkey, while some of the staff will remain in Italy to train the players who will start the season in blue. 

"Having Massimo (Barbolini) as well as Lorenzo (Bernardi) by my side on the bench è an absolute luxury, as well as Juan Manuel (Cichello). During our meetings new ideas always come out and this è something really positive.
