Milan, Rafael Leao’s future is already sealed
Even PSG doesn’t seem so sure about stepping up
.
Milan soccer market: a very delicate moment for Leao. In what was supposed to be the season of consecration at the highest level, the Portuguese has not è managed to offer a performance up to expectations. Few lights and many shadows. The lowest point? The substitution with Genoa, with lots of booing from the San Siro crowd.
Leao at Milan is doing well but, lately, è in great difficulty. He does not find a way to be as incisive as he could and would like. There are those who believe that the best solution for him (and for Milan) is to sell him to the highest bidder and, with the many millions collected, go on the hunt for players who can start a new winning cycle.
A hypothesis not to be discarded but there would be a problem: Leao would no longer have many admirers ready to put up the 175 million euros needed to wrest him from the Diavolo (rescission clause). Even PSG, moreù times approached to the Rossoneri 10, would no longer be convinced of the choice and would be evaluating other profiles among which to choose the heir of Mbappé, destined to leave PSG to settle at Real Madrid.
So what will become of Leao? Most likely he will stay at AC Milan where he will be called upon to prove that he is worth the salary he collects monthly (seven million euros, the highest paid in the Rossoneri squad) and that he is è the right man to drag Milan to new trophies. He certainly doesn't lack talent, what he needs è is a qualitative leap in character to be decisive when the ball is hot.
