Ferrari: sudden revolution in Charles Leclerc’s team

Sudden and unexpected change in Charles Leclerc’s team, ten days before the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix: Ferrari in a note announced that Xavi Marcos will no longer be the Monegasque driver’s track engineer. Bryan Bozzi will replace the Spaniard starting Monday, May 13, and will work with Leclerc ahead of the race scheduled for Imola.

"Scuderia Ferrari announces that, starting May 13, Xavi Marcos will bringà his extensive experience accumulated as a track engineer with the Formula 1 team to the development of other important programs of the’company". 

"The Scuderia also announces that Bryan Bozzi, who has worked in the team for the past ten years, will take his place as track engineer from the upcoming Imola GP",è the Maranello team’s statement.

Xavi Marcos and Leclerc have been the protagonists in the past few months of some rather heated radio exchanges during the Grand Prix, which have leaked if not strained a less than idyllic relationship between the two.
