Marc Marquez’s statements after pre-qualifying at Le Mans

.

Friday was bitter for Marc Marquez. The Team Gresini centaur, in pre-qualifying, did not è manage to go beyond 13th place, thus failing to gain direct access to Q2 ahead of qualifying. At the end of the session, the Spanish rider did not hide his disappointment to the microphones of "Marca".

"The worst Friday since I have been with Ducati. It was an unexpected day, but I had sensed that this moment would come and now è the time to react. In the afternoon session I didn&#39t feel comfortable, nè with the set-up, nè with my riding style. Q1 will be complicated and fundamental and we are aware that there's a lot to work on to hope to be competitive in the rest of the weekend" began the Spanish centaur.

"In the penultimate time attack I was going well but I found a yellow flag; in the’last one, I was going well and I made a mistake. These things happen, but if you have the pace you also have more margin. The thing è I would have passed by a hair. We have to improve becauseé our pace is also not è good, and today for the first time I fell becauseé I passed the limit" added the'former Honda rider.

"I think the direction we took in the afternoon was not the right one, we decided to take the same direction on both bikes seeing how the morning had gone. Maybe we made the wrong choice, we will go back a little bit and see if we can regain the feeling I had in Jerez. I’m already warning that it won’t beà easy to get through Q1 if the feeling is what it was today" concluded Marc Marquez.
