Lazio, Igor Tudor sets no limits on himself
Igor Tudor happy and aware
The 2-0 victory against Empoli has put Lazio fully back in the race for a Champions League spot. Igor Tudor, to the microphones of 'Sky Sport', does not want to set limits just talking about the race to Europe: "There are no goals, we try to win them all and then see where we get" explained the Croatian coach.
"The only thing we have to do è show up as best as we can in every match – added Tudor. Today we did that and I have to congratulate my team, because facing Empoli, who are organized and want to score points in this league finale, è always a difficult challenge".
"Where can we improve? Definitely in the details,” the former Hajduk Split, Trogir, Juventus and Siena player went on to explain.
Some difficulties we faced today because Empoli is a tough team that plays on the opponent's mistakes. We defended well when needed, Mandas è was also important. Forò in these games we have never subì to the game of the opponents".
Born in 1978, Tudor began his coaching career in 2009 as an assistant at Hajduk Split. He was then coach of the same club's Under-17 team and assistant coach for Croatia, before sitting on the first-team benches at Hajduk, PAOK, Karabukspor, Galatasaray, Udinese, again at Hajduk, Juventus (as Andrea Pirlo's deputy), Hellas verona and Olympique Marseille, before settling at Lazio in place of the resigning Maurizio Sarri in March.
