Milan Badelj and Genoa are moving forward together. The Croatian midfielder, in fact, will wear the Rossoblù jersey for another year, having renewed his contract until 2025. This was announced by the Ligurian club itself through an official statement.
"Genoa CFC announces that it has renewed the contract of Milan Badelj until 2025. The captain continues his adventure in the rossoblù jersey, with which to date he has collected 130 appearances and scored 6 goals" reads the note issued by the Grifone on its official website.
The Ligurian club thus continues its policy of renewals in order to maintain staples and consolidate the team’s framework. For the vice-world champion with Croatia in 2018, this will be the fifth season with the Rossoblù jersey.
"Renewal? Yes, I really hope so. Very few details are missing, but it seems that the Rossoblù fans will have to support me another year" had recently stated the Genoa captain in an interview given to the microphones of Dazn.
