Lorenzo Sonego makes a revelation about Jannik Sinner

Lorenzo Sonego in a press conference before the start of the Piedmont Open spoke about his colleague and friend Jannik Sinner, who is struggling with a nagging hip problem that forced him to miss the Rome Internationals and has put him in strong doubt for Roland Garros, the Paris Slam scheduled for later this month that could award him the number one spot in the world rankings.

Sonego revealed ongoing contacts with his national teammate: "We talk often, he keeps me updated on his condition and I do the same. He is trying to recover to get in shape for Roland Garros"  

Sinner at the moment is just in Piedmont for treatment: "Whether he will come" to see me here? He has other things to think about, he has to take care of himself and try to think about his own things".

The Piedmont tennis player wants to achieve Olympic qualification: "We are now working to try to reach the Olympics, if I can, in the last tournaments.
