Winning debuts for Lucia Bronzetti and Martina Trevisan at the WTA 250 in Rabat. The Rimini native overwhelmed young Moroccan Malak El Allami, giving up only one game. 6-0 6-1 was the final score, in just over 50 minutes of play. She encountered more difficulties, however, the Tuscan player who folded Japan’s Nao Hibino with a score of 7-5 4-6 6-3, after two and a half hours of play.
The first set è a real seesaw of emotions, asè from the third game onwards came as many as eight consecutive breaks, with Trevisan managing to hold serve in the crucial eleventh game, then winning the first partial 7-5.
Second set that lives on a roller coaster: Hibino starts off better and immediately goes ahead 2-0, but the Florentine è good at fighting back, posting two consecutive breaks and regaining on’1-2 from 0-40 on serve.
