Luciano Darderi gets off to a good start in Lyon

Luciano Darderi's adventure begins well at the Lyon ATP 250. The Italian-Argentinian tennis player, in fact, è imposed himself on the Japanese Taro Daniel in two sets with the score of 7-5 7-6, thus centering; the 24th success of the season out of 36 and further certifying his 46th position in the ATP Ranking.
The match immediately went uphill for Darderi, who suffered a break in the opening round and was forced to chase for most of the set. The Italo-Argentine managed to find the counter-break in the eighth game and after saving twice in the eleventh he again broke his opponent's serve, winning the partial set 7-5.
The second set developed along the same lines as the first with Darderi twice ending up down by a break only to come back up the score to the decisive tie-break, where the Italian-Argentinean immediately placed the decisive acceleration taking a 5-0 lead. Daniel attempted a minimal comeback, but the Villa Gesell native è deftly closed the file.
In the round of 16, the 22-year-old Italian will face host Adrien Mannarino (number 3 in the tournament).
