Movimelzo makes basket with record-breaking event

Great show at the Mascagni Park in Melzo where, last weekend, the Movimelzo association organized two days full of activities, solidarity and fun.

On Saturday, members of Croce Bianca competed in a basketball tournament involving several sections of the Martesana area. For the younger ones, Movimelzo organized a child makeup station and a pirate-themed treasure hunt that attracted many participants and ended with a super snack offered by the association. Sunday the focus è was the maxi basketball tournament: 12 men’s and 4 women’s teams competed on the court, for a total of nearly 100 athletes. The bar area è managed, despite the huge amount of work, to satisfy everyone present and the games area è was a great pastime for those who did not follow the basketball tournament assiduously.

Present, both days, was the 'association 'Gli Amici di Dea & Nicole', an organization based in Vailate (Cremona) that works to support research to prevent Neonatal Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia of Prematurity'

"It was a very intense and challenging two days but we are delighted with the end result,” said the Movimelzo people. &It was a pleasure to collaborate with Croce Bianca and a great pride to give space to the Friends of Dea & Nicole, a very important reality that works on two main fronts: pruning comfort to parents in the neonatal intensive care unit and supporting research on respiratory diseases of premature infants, with the great hope of lowering the infant mortality rate".
