A few hours before the challenge with Spaniard Alejandro Moro Canas for the decisive qualifying round of the Main Draw of Roland Garros, the young Italian tennis player Mattia Bellucci, to the official channels of the Parisian tournament, among other topics, è dwelt on the importance that Jannik Sinner had in the new generation of Italian players.

"With the other Italian players we are very close. I didn't go the same way as them because I didn't play the Junior Slams, but I think our movement is in great health. After what Sinner did in Australia then things got even better and a lot of people are è approaching tennis" began the Italian tennis player.

"The aspect that strikes me most about Jannik è his constant search for improvement without putting ranking at the center. I think he is doing things the right way. Every time he takes the court he tries to learn new things and è something that for me è has been an inspiration in recent years, as I used to focus too much on results, but I am trying to change and his example is helping me" added the Busto Arsizio native.

"It would be extraordinary to get into the Main Draw of such a prestigious tournament. I made it through the qualifiers in Australia in 2023, but the clay is not è my favorite surface. To succeed here as well would mean that I can play very well also on red" concluded Mattia Bellucci.
