Hellas Verona, Maurizio Setti opens to the inclusion of new partners
Maurizio Setti speaks out on the future of Hellas Verona
No sale of the club né the certainty that next year coach Baroni and sporting director Sogliano will still be in Verona. The president of Hellas Verona Maurizio Setti, stroking the salvation of the Gialloblù with a day in advance, on the eve of Verona-Inter last championship Sunday at 20.45 at the Bentegodi, spoke clearly in a press conference. “The club is not è for sale but è open to opportunities. If the partner arrives who wants to be a capital partner welcome, if a wealthy man arrives who wants to be part of Verona welcome, I am available. I know my possibilities, I’m not a fund, I can’t do first-team soccer and I know the possibilities that the emerging properties have”.
The future of coach Baroni and manager Sogliano. “In life -Setti continued- I have learned that contracts are worth little and are there for everyone. I hope we can continue this path. We have not talked about it yet, we want to finish the season well and then we will make our evaluations with respect to what the market will offer us and with respect to the opportunities that will be there”.
On the fact that never Veronese entrepreneurs have joined Setti, the chairman reveals: “I have tried to pull in Veronese entrepreneurs that there are some. But I always found an obstacle in front of Verona’s name. I have always tried to say that I have seen a great improvement from this point of view. Our fans are no worse than others; on the contrary, I have always tried to scratch this idea. I am not one to go around looking for money. I reiterate the’invitation to anyone who would like to participate in the development of our project, I would be proud and delighted"
