Nahitan Nandez says goodbye to Cagliari: he goes to Saudi Arabia

Nahitan Nandez is leaving Cagliari. The Rossoblù midfielder, due to expire next June 30, will not renew his contract with the Sardinian club. It was announced by the Uruguayan midfielder himself through a long message published on his social channels.

"I thought this moment would never come, this day – he wrote – But I wanted to make this little video to say goodbye to you all, to thank you. It has been five really good years. I came to Cagliari as a kid and now I’m leaving as a man, a Uruguayan man but also a Sardinian".

"È very difficult this goodbye, I really want to thank you. I leave a big piece of my life here, a piece of my heart in this wonderful city. It è not a farewell, è a goodbye. As I’ve always said, I won’t è move to a team that will play against Cagliari. I will not;. You can rest assured: Cagliari will remain my only team in Italy, tiferò Cagliari forever. Thank you very much for everything" Nandez closed.

Nandez will move to Saudi Arabia, where he has already signed as the new player of Al-Qadsiah FC, a Saudi club newly promoted to the Saudi Pro League, which announced the signing of the class '95. Nandez signed a rich three-year contract until June 2027.
