Official: Stefano Pioli is no longer Milan coach

Now è official. Pioli no longer è the Milan coach. Through a joint statement, Milan and the coach made known their decision to part ways at the end of the current season. After five years (and one Scudetto), Pioli closes his experience at the helm of the Diavolo.
"AC Milan and Stefano Pioli announce that they will not continue together next season, intending to end their professional relationship from October 2019. AC Milan affectionately thanks Stefano Pioli, and all his staff, for having led the First Team in these five years, achieving a Scudetto that will remain unforgettable and for having brought AC Milan back stably in the most important European competitions. Stefano with his professionalismà and his humanità has been able to enhance the squad and has embodied from day one the fundamental values of the Club".
"Stefano Pioli thanks Milan for the opportunity to be part of the History of this glorious Club and expresses deep gratitude to the owners", managers, team, staff and all the personnel of Milanello and Casa Milan for their support and great professionalism. The coach addresses a special thought to the many fans who have supported Milan over the years, showing unconditional attachment", the official statement.
At this point, in the Milan household, the wait is growing to know who will take Pioli's place at the helm of the Diavolo. At the moment, in pole position would be Fonseca. Also to be understood is what will be Pioli’s next bench (Bologna, Napoli and Atalanta are valid options).
