Xavi's adventure on the Barcelona bench è come to an end. The coach of the blaugrana, in fact, è been exonerated. It was announced by the Catalan club itself through an official statement released on its official channels.

"On Friday, FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta informed Xavi Hernández that he will not continue coaching the first team in the 2024-25 season. The meeting took place at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and was also attended by sporting vice president Rafa Yuste, sporting director Anderson Luís de Souza, Deco, Xavi, Òscar Hernández and Sergio Alegre".

"FC Barcelona wishes to thank Xavi for his work as a coach, as well as for his inimitable career as a player and as team captain, and wishes him every future success in the world. Xavi Hernández will coach the team for the last time in Sunday's match at home to Sevilla" closes the Barça note.

In place of Xavi, on the bench of the Catalans will sit Hansi Flick, who, according to the 'Mundo Deportivo' has already reached an agreement with Barcelona.
