Ferrari, Sainz’s assist to Leclerc: "It will help himò win"
A decidedly positive Saturday in Monte Carlo for Ferrari, which in official qualifying for the Monaco GP took pole position with Charles Leclerc, and third place with Carlos Sainz. The Spanish driver after official practice è ready to do his part to help his teammate win the first Gp of the season.
"I am happy to see Charles on pole and the team with a chance to win tomorrow, we will do everything we can to allow Charles to take the win. He drove amazingly all weekend".
"I lacked a little bit’ of confidence, if elsewhere you pay for it with half a tenth, here it costs you 2-3 tenths. È something we will have to look at, but we saved the weekend with two good laps in Q3. A bit’ the whole weekend è was difficult for me, I didn’t have the usual confidence that I have in Monaco".
Team principal Vasseur commented on qualifying as follows: "Charles has been flying since the beginning of the weekend, è he has been very consistent with a very fast pace from the start. It's nice to have both cars in front also in terms of strategy and everything else. But we will see tomorrow, we know that it è exceptionally important to take pole position in Monaco, forè not è obvious to win, so we have to do everything properly".
