The Dallas Mavericks are one step (or rather, two steps) away from the NBA Finals. In fact, the Texas franchise swept Minneapolis once again, taking a 2-0 lead in the conference finals series against the Timberwolves, who seemed to be the favorites to pass the round.

The hosts, defeated in the opener, tried to redeem themselves but squandered a 16-length lead midway through the third period and abetted by an unbelievable series of fumbled balls came to play it all out point-for-point in the finale.

Luka Doncic (decisive with an overall triple-double from 32 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists) with three seconds left challenged Rudy Gobert, one of the best defenders in the league, and with a step-back triple completed the comeback.
