Milan: 3-3 show, farewell with goal for Giroud. Pioli cheered
An evening of strong emotions for AC Milan, which says goodbye with a spectacular draw to Simon Kjaer, Olivier Giroud and Stefano Pioli, three protagonists of the 2022 Scudetto at the farewell step. The Rossoneri drew 3-3 with Salernitana in the last match of the season: Leao, Giroud and captain Calabria scored for the meneghini at the San Siro, Simy scored twice and Sambia scored for the guests.
Leao unblocked the result on 22' thanks to a duck by Fiorillo, who let the ball slip through his fingers on Reijnders’ long throw: the Portuguese è the two-step and did not miss, then ran to the other side of the field to hug his mentor Stefano Pioli, who was also hailed by the Curva Sud. On 27' comes Olivier Giroud's double: the French striker greets the Rossoneri crowd with a beautiful turn that beats Fiorillo.
In the second half, Simy shortened the gap at 64' on the development of a corner, but captain Calabria stretched it again by finding the 3-1 header on an assist from Pulisic at 77'.
Time for goodbyes in the final: standing ovation for Giroud, replaced by Jovic, also inside Simon Kjaer for the final passerelle, outside Tomori. And at the expiration Salernitana equalizes: Sambia scores the 2-3 goal at the 87'87;, again Simy seals the 3-3 after a short clearance by Nava.
