Jannik Sinner made a good debut at Roland Garros: in Paris, the Italian tennis player bent the U.S. Eubanks in two sets showing good tennis and some understandable rust after weeks of enforced stop due to hip problem. L'Azzurro after the match immediately updated on his condition: "The hip is fine".
"With my team we have been working a lot. I am not 100% fit, we are trying to get it back. Thanks to everyone for the help and support", continued the San Candido champion.
"I am glad to be back on the court, Roland Garros è a special tournament for me becauseé here I played my first quarterfinal at Slam level. I try to build something day by day, I’m happy with today’s performance".
In the second round, Sinner will face host Gasquet: "In the last few months I have improved so much, my team every day pushes me to improve even more and be happy on the court. I am happy to be here and play tennis".
